The short version
- You don't need an account, a name or an email address to play.
- The game and our advertising partners read your device's advertising ID and work out your country from your IP address, so ads can be shown, counted and capped.
- We collect crash reports and basic gameplay events — levels started, levels finished, session length — to fix bugs and balance difficulty.
- Purchases run through Apple or Google. We never see your card details.
- You can switch off personalised ads at any time — see section 8.
- To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email bd@mobingame.com.
1Who we are
Mobingame Limited, registered at 19/F, World Trust Tower, 50 Stanley Street, Central, Hong Kong, publishes our game (the "Game") and is the data controller for the personal data described here.
You can reach our privacy contact at bd@mobingame.com.
2What this policy covers
This policy applies to the Game on iOS and Android, and to any support conversation you start with us about it.
It does not cover the app stores you download from, or the internal practices of the advertising and analytics companies we work with. Those companies act as independent controllers for some of the data their software collects, under their own policies, which are linked in section 7.
3Data we collect
We collect only what the Game needs to run, earn revenue and improve. None of it is tied to a real-world identity: we do not ask for your name, phone number or postal address.
| What | Why | Who receives it |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising ID (Android AAID, iOS IDFA) and, where available, a vendor identifier | Serving ads, capping how often you see the same ad, measuring which ads work, detecting install fraud | Ad and attribution partners in section 7 |
| IP address, and the country or region derived from it | Choosing the right ad market and language, applying the right privacy rules to you, blocking abuse | Ad partners, analytics providers |
| Device model, operating system version, language, screen size, available storage, network type | Making sure the Game runs on your device and diagnosing problems | Analytics and crash reporting providers |
| Gameplay events: levels started and completed, scores, in-game currency, session start and length, settings you change, ads you watch | Balancing difficulty, finding where players get stuck, measuring whether a new feature works | Analytics provider |
| Crash and performance logs, including the state of the Game at the moment it failed | Reproducing and fixing crashes | Crash reporting provider |
| Purchase records: transaction ID, product bought, date, store country | Delivering what you bought, restoring purchases on a new device, handling refunds, tax records | Apple or Google; our accountants |
| Your email address and whatever you write, if you contact support | Answering you | Our email provider |
We do not collect your precise GPS location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera data, browsing history outside the Game, or any special category data such as health, biometrics or beliefs.
4Why we use it
- To run the Game and save your progress on your device.
- To deliver items you buy and restore them when you reinstall.
- To show advertising, which is how a free game pays for itself, and to measure whether that advertising worked.
- To find bugs, crashes and difficulty spikes, and to decide what to build next.
- To detect cheating, fraudulent installs and abuse of our systems.
- To meet accounting, tax and legal obligations.
We do not use your data to make automated decisions that produce legal effects for you.
5Legal bases
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on these bases under the GDPR:
- Consent — personalised advertising, and analytics that are not strictly necessary. You give or refuse this on the consent screen described in section 6, and you can change your mind at any time.
- Performance of a contract — running the Game and delivering purchases once you install and play.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the Game secure, preventing fraud, fixing crashes and understanding aggregate usage. We have balanced these against your rights and use the least data that does the job.
- Legal obligation — keeping financial records and responding to lawful requests.
If you are in Vietnam, we process personal data in line with Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection, and we obtain your consent before processing anything that requires it.
6Your consent choices
The first time you open the Game from a region that requires it, a consent screen asks whether you agree to personalised advertising and optional analytics. If you decline, the Game still works: you will see contextual, non-personalised ads instead.
On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt appears separately. If you do not allow tracking, your IDFA is not shared with our advertising partners and you will receive non-personalised ads.
You can reopen the consent screen at any time from Settings → Privacy inside the Game.
7Ads, analytics and partners
The Game includes software from the companies below. Each has its own privacy policy explaining what it collects and how to opt out.
| Partner | What it does | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Advertising | policies.google.com |
| AppLovin | Advertising and mediation | applovin.com/privacy |
| Unity Ads | Advertising | unity.com/legal |
| Meta Audience Network | Advertising | facebook.com/about/privacy |
| Google Firebase Analytics | Gameplay analytics | firebase.google.com |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash reporting | firebase.google.com |
| AppsFlyer | Install attribution | appsflyer.com/legal |
Editor's note, remove before publishing: keep this table matching the SDKs actually shipped, and update the effective date at the top in the same release.
8Turning off personalised ads
Android
Open Settings → Privacy → Ads, then choose Delete advertising ID. Apps can no longer use it to build a profile. On older versions the option is called Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
iPhone and iPad
Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track, or turn off tracking for this Game specifically.
Inside the Game
Open Settings → Privacy to withdraw consent for personalised ads and optional analytics.
You will still see ads after opting out. They will be chosen from context rather than from your device history.
9Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in countries where that is the applicable age, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
If a child has used the Game and you are their parent or guardian, email us at bd@mobingame.com and we will delete what we hold.
Where the Game is listed in a families programme on an app store, we serve only ad units certified for a child audience, and we do not enable personalised advertising or install attribution for those users.
10Who we share data with
- The service providers listed in section 7, under contracts that limit them to the purposes we set.
- Apple and Google, for distribution, payments and refunds.
- Our accountants and auditors, for financial records.
- Law enforcement or regulators, where a valid legal request requires it.
- A buyer or successor, if the Game or our company is sold, in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing with advertising partners may count as "sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising" under California law; see section 14 for how to opt out.
11Where data is stored
Our providers process data on servers in the United States, the European Union and Asia. When data leaves the EEA or the UK, transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
12How long we keep it
- Gameplay and advertising events: up to 14 months in our analytics tools, then deleted or aggregated.
- Crash logs: 90 days.
- Purchase and tax records: as long as accounting law requires, typically 7 to 10 years.
- Support emails: 24 months after the conversation ends.
13Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Access to analytics and advertising dashboards is limited to staff who need it and protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee against every risk, but we will notify you and the relevant regulator where the law requires it after a breach.
14Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to another provider. You can withdraw consent at any time, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are in California, you may also ask what we collected in the past 12 months, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
How to make a request
Because there is no account, we identify your data by your advertising ID. Include it in your email so we can find the right records:
- Android — Settings → Privacy → Ads → Your advertising ID
- iOS — the Game shows it under Settings → Privacy → My device ID
Email the request to bd@mobingame.com. We answer within 30 days. If you have deleted your advertising ID we may no longer be able to link any data to you, which also means we cannot retrieve it.
15Changes
We update this page when the Game changes. The effective date at the top always shows the current version. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the Game before it takes effect and, where the law requires, ask for your consent again.
